Job summary

Tapcheck is seeking a Talent Acquisition Associate to build the sourcing engine powering our hiring. You will identify and engage candidates across open roles, helping the team move faster and reduce reliance on outside recruiters.

This is an ideal entry-to-mid level role to learn sourcing, screening, and pipeline management from the ground up, working with the Director of Talent Acquisition on impactful searches.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a sourcer or recruiting associate.
• Supported sourcing or full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
• Used LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search strings to build passive candidate pipelines.
• Screened resumes and applications against defined role criteria.
• Communicated clearly and professionally with candidates through outreach and screening conversations.

• Screen inbound resumes and applications against role criteria.
• Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate fit and interest.

• Partner with the Director of Talent Acquisition to understand role requirements and sourcing criteria for each search.
• Support candidate communication and interview scheduling as needed.

This is a hybrid role in our Plano Office. Our team goes into the office Tuesday through Thursday each week.

Tapcheck's Talent Acquisition team is growing, and we're looking for a Talent Acquisition Associate to build the sourcing engine that powers our hiring. You will find and engage great candidates across a range of open roles, helping the team move faster and rely less on outside recruiting firms.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their recruiting career to learn sourcing, screening, and pipeline management from the ground up, working closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition on searches that matter to the business.

What You'll Do

• Source passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other channels

• Build and maintain healthy, diverse talent pipelines across multiple open roles

• Screen inbound resumes and applications against role requirements

• Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate fit and interest

• Keep candidate records and pipeline stages accurate and current in Ashby

• Partner with the Director of Talent Acquisition to understand role requirements and sourcing criteria for each search

• Support candidate communication and interview scheduling as needed

What You've Done

Required

• 1 – 2 years of experience as a sourcer or recruiting associate

• Supported sourcing or full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment

• Used LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search strings to build passive candidate pipelines

• Screened resumes and applications against defined role criteria

• Communicated clearly and professionally with candidates through outreach and screening conversations

Preferred

• Worked in Fintech, HRTech, Payroll, or a SaaS environment

• Used an applicant tracking system such as Ashby to manage pipeline hygiene

• Supported sourcing for technical or go-to-market roles
