The Take Off / Lift Operator role at Saint-Gobain is responsible for operating bundling and lifting equipment to stack, tape, and bundle gypsum wallboard for outbound shipments. The job requires frequent forklift operation, quality inspections, and accurate production counts in a fast-paced plant near Seattle.
Shifts are 12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with three night openings. Applicants must follow safety protocols, LOTO, and keep a clean, efficient work area while meeting production targets.
The Take Off / Lift Operator is primarily responsible to use machines according to safety standards around the production line that stacks, tapes, and bundles gypsum wallboard board together for outbound shipments to customers. The successful candidate will also be responsible to add spacers (known as sluetters) between stacks of bundled wallboard, performing timely quality inspections on a regular schedule using an internal computer and written system(s), ensuring the accuracy of production count, and transporting the bundled gypsum wallboard to the correct area of the warehouse operating a forklift and other equipment.
The Take Off / Lift Operator reports directly to the Shift Manager and works 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. We are currently recruiting for three (3) Night Shift openings.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the local pay range for this position, which is $29.29 to $32.63 per hour, plus 2 nd and 3 rd Shift differential of $1.15 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 5 or 6% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks) for this position, is $63,969 to $71,942. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
