Job summary

The Brobston Group is seeking a skilled alterations specialist to deliver high-quality fittings and garment alterations.

You will measure customers, fit garments, and complete alterations with attention to detail and timely service. In this role, you will educate customers and employees on fit and garment construction, collaborate with the Alterations and Store teams, and contribute to a positive shopping experience through craftsmanship and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of fitting, tailoring, and sewing experience preferred.
• Professional communication skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing, pressing, and alterations equipment.
• Flexibility to work a schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers, fit garments, and mark areas requiring alteration.
• Complete customer fittings and sewing alterations on time according to service standards.
• Meet productivity goals and use store technology to organize alteration needs.
• Educate customers and employees on fit, style, garment construction, and trends.
• Work collaboratively with the Alterations and Store teams.
