Job summary

hcaoa-careers seeks a dependable Area Care Tech to support clients when regular staff are unavailable across multiple homes. The role offers variety, flexibility, and daily pay, ideal for experienced caregivers or CNAs who thrive in fast-paced settings and want to make a meaningful impact.

As an ACT you will assist with hygiene, mobility, housekeeping, meals, companionship, and care documentation. Travel to client homes is required; a CNA/PCA license is preferred, with willingness to obtain PCA

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Active CNA or PCA license preferred, or willingness to become PCA.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Current auto insurance and clean background check with drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Support safe mobility and transfers.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care activities and report changes in client condition.
• Respond quickly to client needs in homes across assigned areas.

Skills

What We're Looking For:
