Job summary

One World Global Services is hiring experienced interpreters for the Wolof language. This fully remote role offers either full-time or part-time employment with immediate onboarding after training and monthly payments on a per-minute or fixed-rate basis.

Responsibilities include answering calls professionally, adhering to the interpreter code of conduct, and working with healthcare/medical vocabulary. Applicants should have 1+ years of interpreting experience and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English, with strong bilingual ability in WoLOF.
• 1+ years of interpreting experience (Desirable).
• High emotional intelligence and tolerance of diverse cultures.
• Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally according to the interpreter’s code of conduct.
• Familiarize with industry vocabulary, especially healthcare/medical terms.
• Participate in internal professional training.
• Communicate and report to team leader.
