Job summary

One World Global Services in the United States is seeking experienced interpreters for WOLOF. This fully remote role offers flexible scheduling and both full-time and part-time options.

You will handle calls professionally, maintain privacy, and adapt to healthcare terminology. A desktop or laptop with reliable internet and headset is required.

Ideal candidates have bilingual English/Wolof skills and at least one year of interpreting experience, plus strong communication and memory skills.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Wolof with native-level proficiency.
• At least 1 year interpreting experience (desirable).
• Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
• High emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally following interpreter’s code of conduct.
• Be aware of the healthcare/medical vocabulary specific to the industry.
• Participate in internal professional training.
