Job summary

HomeTeam Pest Defense in Virginia is seeking a pest control technician to install Taexx systems in new homes and perform termite treatments with a focus on customer service.

You’ll work a scheduled route, maintain licenses, and submit clear service tickets. Training is provided, and there are many opportunities for advancement within a friendly, security-minded team. A company truck and uniform are provided along with a robust benefits package and PTO.

Qualifications

• No experience required – training will be provided!
• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain termite technician or pest control licensing (company paid)

Responsibilities

• Follow a daily schedule, ensuring timely arrival at each job site
• Install the Taexx System in new homes and buildings within scheduled route
• Perform termite treatment services and interact with homebuilders, sub-contractors and field managers to meet deadlines
• Responsible for submitting legible, clear and accurate service tickets to office personnel
• Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners everyday as you work your route
• Present a professional, tidy appearance, including your company truck, equipment, and uniform
• Maintain your pest control license and keep your knowledge sharp by attending pest control seminars regularly
• Stay motivated and focused while you work independently
• Must be able to work Saturdays to complete installs according to builder home completion timelines as needed
