GardaWorld Security is seeking a Tactical Security Officer in Austin, TX. The role emphasizes sharp observation, security screening, and prompt incident response across varied environments such as retail and airports.

Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S., able to pass background and drug screens, and hold a HS diploma or GED. A Texas Security License or ability to obtain one is required; a driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to stand and walk for entire shift
• Ability to work outside in various conditions
• First aid certification is an asset

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure safety and protection of people and property
