Job summary

GardaWorld Security is hiring a Tactical Security Officer to patrol diverse environments, including retail stores, airports, and detention centers. You will read environments, anticipate risk, and act to protect people and property throughout your shift.

Responsibilities include monitoring alarms and cameras, verifying identities, and responding quickly to incidents. You will work with law enforcement as needed and receive competitive hourly pay, benefits, and uniform coverage.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
• Able to pass extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• State license if required

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
