Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking an RF Network Engineer in Virginia Beach to deploy, install, and configure tactical communication and network systems across naval, aerial, vehicular, and field assets. You will ensure secure, reliable, and mission-ready connectivity in dynamic environments.

The role requires active SECRET clearance, US citizenship, and the ability to travel up to 25%. Candidates should have proficiency with mesh networks, MPU5, TrellisWare, WinTAK/ATAK, and Cisco CCNA or equivalent.

Qualifications

• United States citizenship is required.
• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with changing requirements.
• Experience with field exercises and on-site troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of RF principles and propagation.
• Experience with mesh networks and MPU5 TrellisWare equipment.
• Familiarity with WinTAK/ATAK.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage networking hardware, including routers, switches, servers, radios, and satellite terminals.
• Ensure systems are secured and interoperable across diverse environments.
• Provide rapid troubleshooting for field teams and end-users.
• Maintain inventories, procurement, deployment, and decommissioning of equipment.
• Create and update technical diagrams, procedures, and guides.
• Implement quality control and QA measures.
• Provide network architecture design and management.
