Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of related experience; graduate degree acceptable with less experience
• Experience negotiating with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and delivery
• Experience analyzing supplier performance, pricing, and lead times
• MRP experience and Agile configuration experience desirable
• Cost analysis and negotiation experience essential

Responsibilities

• Issue RFQs, evaluate bids, select suppliers, and place POs
• Negotiate price, delivery and service with suppliers
• Maintain day-to-day supplier relationships and oversee purchase orders
• Expedite or de-expedite orders to meet schedule needs
• Support blanket purchase orders and inventory programs
• Analyze planning needs using Oracle EBS/ASCP and update orders
• Participate on Supply Chain Commodity Team to evaluate supplier capability
• Ensure supplier compliance via online portals and monitor shortages with planning
• Assist with accounts payable invoice reconciliation and data accuracy
