Job summary

CMTS, LLC is seeking a Tactical Planner to support airport project coordination at Denver International Airport. You will identify operational impacts, align overlapping activities, and facilitate stakeholder engagement while tracking schedules and risks on active projects.

You will work with the Sr. Tactical Planner and Project Managers to suggest future timelines and help mitigate construction-related impacts to airport operations through site visits and proactive coordination.

Qualifications

  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and coordination involving multiple organizations, including airport authorities, airlines, government agencies, contractors, and other operational stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates interest in problem solving and analytical challenges.
  • Ability to identify and communicate project coordination conflicts involving overlapping shutdown requests, project footprints, and project activities.
  • Experience in Airport Planning, Airport Operations, or Airport Maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate overlapping projects among project managers, contractors, airport operations, airlines, security, maintenance, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain an up-to-date project list for projects occurring throughout Denver International Airport.
  • Establish and facilitate regular coordination meetings with stakeholders and project managers in accordance with the DEN governance structure.
  • Conduct site walks and pre-construction field reviews to confirm project scope, boundaries, access routes, safety concerns, and operational constraints.
  • Support communication planning by preparing project updates, presentations, notices, meeting materials, and other stakeholder communications.
  • Help identify and resolve conflicts between construction requirements and airport operations, including gate use, roadway access, baggage systems, terminal operations, utilities, and airfield activities.
  • Identify operational impacts from construction, closures, phasing changes, utility shutdowns, or access restrictions.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

About Your Role

Support airport project coordination by identifying operational impacts, aligning overlapping project activities, facilitating stakeholder engagement, conducting site visits, tracking project schedules and risks, work with the Sr. Tactical Planner and Project Managers to suggest future project timelines, and helping project teams mitigate construction-related impacts to airport operations

Salary
  • $145,000.00 - $155,000.00 annually

Compensation is based on qualifications, experience, skills, certifications, and other job-related factors.

A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.
