REPAY is seeking a Tactical Operations Lead to drive the MPI team’s operations, ensuring smooth payment processing and strong client support. You will coordinate with partner banks to manage transfers, investigate issues, and oversee reporting and validation tasks.

The role requires a finance/economics/analytics background, 2+ years in payments operations, and excellent communication and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, or related field.
• For non-college graduates, a minimum of two years of experience in payment/banking operations.
• Experience with reconciliation is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage fund transfers between accounts (ACH and wire) with partner banks.
• Research and resolve failed transactions; manage refunds and reissues.
• Support MPI payment reporting and client payment validation.
• Assist client reconciliation and handle escalations and reporting requests.
• Liaise between Payment Specialists and Development team; track MPI-related tickets.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our tactical operations on the MPI team. As a Tactical Operations Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of payment operations, working closely with our partner banks, and providing exceptional support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage fund transfers between accounts, including ACH and wire activity with partner banks
• Research and resolve failed transactions, and manage refunds and reissues
• Provide support for MPI payment reporting and customer-level payment validation
• Support client reconciliation process and manage client escalations and reporting requests
• Act as a liaison between Payment Specialists and the Development team, submitting and tracking development tickets related to MPI payment processing issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, or related field
• For non-college graduates, a minimum of two years of experience working in payment/banking operations
• Previous reconciliation experience
• Strong communication skills
• High level of attention to detail, quality, and effective verbal and written communication skills along with excellent follow-through
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while successfully meeting established goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptive to frequent process changes, work duties or assignments
• General skillset to perform/navigate on Microsoft
• Experience with Excel
