Job summary

Central Intelligence Agency seeks Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to deliver medical care in austere environments. You will treat illnesses, stabilize trauma, and operate remote clinics while carrying out logistical duties.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an AAPA-approved program or NP program.
• Current NCCPA certification for PAs, AANPCB or ANCC certification for NPs.

Responsibilities

• Treat illness, injuries, and medical emergencies including trauma stabilization.
• Establish and operate remote independent duty clinics including performing logistical and administrative functions.
• Conduct physical examinations and interpretation of diagnostic testing.
• Provide didactic and practical instruction in medical care including field medicine and Tactical Combat Casualty Care.
• May deploy abroad with limited resources and carry medical equipment between locations.
