Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services seeks experienced Physician Assistants to provide direct patient care in life-saving humanitarian settings worldwide. The role is full-time with a 36–48 hour work week and day/night shifts. Base pay is $61.50 per hour plus $4.57 per hour fringe; housing and a weekly stipend are provided to travelers.

Applicants must hold an active U.S. PA license, NCCPA board certification, and a minimum of one year in Primary Care, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in any U.S. state.
• Minimum one year of experience in Primary Care, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine.
• Board-certified by the NCCPA.
• ARC-PA approved PA program graduation with optional bachelor’s degree or health-care experience.
• BLS certification through AHA, or readiness to obtain soon.
• Comfortable caring for patients aged 0–99.
• Valid Tier 4 security clearance required to start.
• Criminal history clear of major convictions.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and complete required paperwork.
• Evaluate and provide care per SOPs, including medical follow-up and walk-in care.
• Deliver emergency and first-aid treatment within scope until transfer to local healthcare system.
• Perform minor surgical procedures such as suturing and incision and drainage of simple cysts.
• Review and reevaluate ongoing medical or pharmaceutical cases as needed.
• Carry out orders authorized by the supervising physician.

• Evaluate and provide care per standard operating procedures, including medical follow‑up and walk‑in care.
• Deliver emergency and first‑aid treatment within scope of work until transfer to local healthcare system.
• Perform limited, minor surgical procedures such as simple suturing of uncomplicated lacerations and incision and drainage of simple cysts.
• Review and reevaluate ongoing medical or pharmaceutical cases as needed.
• Carry out orders authorized by the supervising physician.

Qualifications

• Licensed in any U.S. state – a current, active medical board license for Physician Assistants; a temporary license is not accepted.
• Minimum one year of experience in Primary Care, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine.
• Board‑certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Completion of one of the following progression paths:
  1. Bachelor’s degree from a PA program certified by ARC‑PA;
  2. Graduation from an ARC‑PA program plus a bachelor’s degree in a health‑care occupation or a health‑related science;
  3. Graduation from an ARC‑PA program plus progressively responsible health‑care experience such as an independent duty medical corpsman, licensed practical nurse, medical technologist, or medical technician.
• BLS certification through AHA, or readiness to obtain within a short period.
• Comfortable caring for patients of all ages (0‑99).
• Valid Tier 4 security clearance required to start.
• Clear criminal history—no convictions or pleas for crimes other than a non‑expurgated minor traffic violation.
