Job summary

Valbin Corporation seeks an experienced High Threat Driving Instructor to support the USAF EOS Fieldcraft Program at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. The role involves classroom, hands-on, and field instruction in tactical and high-threat vehicle operations to prepare personnel for hostile environments.

The instructor delivers practical driving demonstrations, evaluates student performance, and ensures compliance with syllabi, POIs, and safety standards. Contingent upon contract award.

Qualifications

• Formal High Threat Driving Training course with at least 24 hours of instruction.
• Knowledge and practical experience in high-threat and tactical vehicle operations.
• Ability to instruct advanced driving techniques including slalom, off-road, high-speed turns, evasive drills, and attack scenario response.
• Experience conducting practical driver training, performance evaluations, and vehicle safety instruction.
• Valid state driver's license with the ability to operate government-furnished vehicles.
• Must meet General Instructor qualifications (instructor certification, weapons qualification, First Aid/CPR/AED, Range Safety Officer, and fitness requirements).

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, practical, and field instruction on High Threat Driving techniques.
• Conduct driving demonstrations and evaluate student performance.
• Instruct students on high-threat driving skills and defensive driving techniques.
• Prepare, inspect, and maintain training vehicles and instructional equipment.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and ensure safety compliance.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to students during exercises.
• Assist with planning, setup, execution, and reconstitution of vehicle-based training events.
• Evaluate student proficiency and document training results per USAF EOS/CCAF requirements.
• Provide subject matter expertise to enhance driving curriculum and readiness.
• Comply with USAF EOS policies, safety requirements, and contract standards.
