Job summary

ARMADA, Ltd. is seeking a Tactical Weapons Based Support Instructor to deliver advanced-level training at NTTC Lackland/San Antonio, Texas. The role includes supervising live-fire and simulation exercises and ensuring safety and compliance in high-risk environments.

The instructor will teach small arms employment, tactical shooting, defensive tactics, and mission planning, coordinating JET programs and evaluating performance to meet Navy standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of past military weapons employment or equivalent law enforcement security experience.
• Qualified as a small arms weapons instructor.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced-level tactical training per CENSECFOR curriculum requirements.
• Instruct in small arms, tactical shooting, defensive tactics, non-lethal weapons, mission planning, movement, and decision-making.
• Serve as Range Safety Officer when designated after PQS and board certification.
• Coordinate JET training including dynamic scenarios and stress inoculation.
• Maintain safety and compliance during live-fire, simulation, and high-risk training.
• Prepare students for high-stress operations through coaching and evaluation.
• Support curriculum updates, instructor evaluations, testing procedures, and remediation.
• Maintain weapon qualification standards including sharpshooter scores.
• Other duties as assigned.
