Job summary

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas seeks an Officer for the Emergency Response Team to provide high-visibility uniformed presence on property. You will attend briefings, use data-driven information to reduce incidents, and respond to emergencies with enhanced training in tactical-response protocols and firearms.

You will collaborate with Security Officers, wear full uniform including ballistic vest and BWC, and perform duties to protect guests, team members, and property, with emphasis on safety,

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of demonstrated experience in civilian or military law enforcement, casino/hotel security, or industrial security.
• Must obtain Nevada Driver’s License, Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration, TAM Card, and any other certification or license as required by law or policy.
• Excellent English proficiency (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• May change from uniform to plain clothes to support role.
• ERT Officers serve as ambassadors, upholding guest-service standards.
• Investigate suspicious/ unusual behavior toward guests, team members, and property.
• Respond in a tactical security role during major incidents or crises.
• Deconflict threats, evaluate crises, and act on information.
• Execute emergency response and evacuation procedures.
• Prepare suspicious activity reports or security incident reports.
• Direct others for protection and self-preservation.
• Demonstrate good judgment with available information.
• Additional duties as assigned.
