Job summary

True Talent Solutions Partners is seeking an engineer to lead customer-facing data and analytics software delivery on edge and on-prem hardware. The role focuses on building reliable containerized services, troubleshooting, and coordinating with customers across environments.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Linux, and programming in multiple languages, plus the ability to travel up to 25% and obtain/maintain a US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of software engineering experience, including hands-on integration with physical hardware or edge systems.
• Computer science degree and strong software fundamentals.
• Experience deploying and managing containerized applications with Kubernetes.
• Deep Linux systems experience: administration, networking, and on-prem infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Bash, Go, or JavaScript.
• Experience in defense/government/systems integration or related customer environments; data/analytics platforms a plus.
• Active US Secret or Top Secret clearance and authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of customer projects with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with customers to design and deploy containerized software in air-gapped, on-premises, and edge environments.
• Troubleshoot network and systems issues, review monitoring, manage configurations and load balancing, and support container orchestration and upgrades.
• Provide operational support to resolve issues quickly and minimize disruption to customer operations.
• Discuss technical architecture with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Travel to customer locations approximately 25% of the time.
