Qualifications

• Two to five years of software engineering experience with hands-on integration of software with hardware
• Active US Security clearance at Secret or Top Secret level
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent with strong Linux systems experience
• Experience deploying and managing containerized applications with Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Bash, Go, or JavaScript
• Defense or systems integration background; familiarity with forward-deployed software platforms helps
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Washington, DC metro area, with availability to work in the office four days per week

Responsibilities

• Deploy containerized software on on-premises and edge hardware, including air-gapped systems
• Own end-to-end execution of high-stakes technical projects with minimal supervision
• Discuss technical architecture with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Debug network and systems issues, review monitoring/alerts, manage configurations and load balancing, orchestrate containers, and upgrades
• Provide operational and troubleshooting support to resolve issues quickly and minimize disruption
• Travel to customer locations, approximately 25% of the time
