Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Tactical Command and Control (C2) Operations SME for the CAF DTC at Langley AFB, VA. You will facilitate distributed training of U.S. and allied aircrews and JTACs using ASCOT, CES, NGTS, and MACE in a dynamic virtual battlespace.

Requirements include an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR, plus prior ABM/AIC/WD experience and advanced degrees. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR.
• Former ABM/AIC/WD with experience on E-3 (AWACS), E-2, CRC, TAOC or BMCS.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years’ command and control experience; or Master’s with 7 years; or PhD with 4 years.
• Thorough knowledge of AFTTP 3-1 or service equivalents.
• Thorough knowledge of ALSSA Brevity and ALSSA Air Control Communication.
• Operationally relevant experience within past 10 years (simulator experience acceptable).
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support daily training by scheduling, mission planning, creating materials, briefing, executing, and debriefing LFEs and Small Team events.
• Attend CAF exercise planning conferences and sites to discuss training requirements and integrate them into missions.
• Provide consulting to military/defense clients for training and doctrine development, scenario creation, and data analysis.
