Job summary

Robinson Paving (part of Scruggs) is seeking an Asphalt Distributor Operator / Tack Truck Driver in Georgia. The role involves operating distributor equipment, spraying tack/primer, and ensuring even material distribution on road surfaces.

Candidates must have a CDL Class A or B with tanker/hazmat endorsement, a current DOT physical, and be able to work rotating shifts. Pre-employment drug testing and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience required.
• CDL Class A or B with tanker/hazmat endorsement required.
• Proof of current DOT physical.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• Able to complete required paperwork efficiently.
• Must meet MVR requirements and hold a Georgia CDL.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and operate distributor.
• Drive and operate distributor truck to spray tack or primer with even distribution of material.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to supervisor.
• May perform shovel work, set string line, add/remove screed extensions.
