Job summary

Threshold Enterprises in Scotts Valley, CA is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to run encapsulation, tablet coating, and other production line equipment. You will set up machinery, monitor operations, ensure materials are available, and document results.

You will also perform routine maintenance, inspect quality, follow safety protocols, work with others in a team, and be flexible for shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years machine operator experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent English communication skills; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed.
• Set up machinery and ensure all production materials are available.
• Visually inspect production run and document results.
• Determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area.
• Ensure that products meet applicable quality standards.
• Meet safety expectations including PPE and safe practices.
• Collect and analyze data using applied math.
• Perform basic and routine maintenance activities.
• Work across multiple shifts and overtime as needed.
• Disassemble, clean/sanitize and reassemble equipment.
• Document Processor Operation Logs in compliance with SOPs.
