Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Lead Angular Developer to drive tablet-first frontend design for autonomous systems across multiple teams. You will shape scalable frontend architecture and deliver high-performance user experiences in real time.

You'll work at the intersection of real-time systems, visualization, and industrial autonomy, integrating with simulation platforms like NVIDIA Omniverse for digital twins and 3D visualization. Strong leadership and hands-on coding are required.

Qualifications

Experience in frontend architecture and software integration.
Leadership of engineering teams across multiple projects.
Strong background in Angular, RxJS, and state management (NgRx or similar).
Hands-on experience with hybrid mobile apps (Ionic/Capacitor).
Experience with real-time data systems and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Own and define frontend architecture across teams, including UI frameworks and application structure.
Design and deliver tablet-first applications using Angular and Ionic/Capacitor for mobile and console-like environments.
Build interactive, real-time UIs that visualize autonomous systems with live data and AI outputs.
Drive performance optimization for low-latency experiences on tablets and mobile devices.
Establish engineering standards, reusable components, and best practices for scalability.
Lead design reviews, guide implementation, and mentor engineers across teams.
Collaborate with product, UX, backend, and AI teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Ensure quality through automated testing, CI/CD, and observability.
