Job summary

MBTA is seeking a Tableau Systems Administrator to manage and optimize its Tableau Server/Cloud environment, ensuring reliability, performance, and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data initiatives, dashboards, and data visualization needs, while maintaining data quality and governance.

The role involves security, data source mapping, prep flow resolution, and supporting Tableau Server to Cloud migration efforts.

Qualifications

• The candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher and experience with Tableau Server/Cloud.
• Minimum years of BI or data engineering experience and Tableau administration are required.
• Strong scripting, data integration, and data governance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage Tableau infrastructure for high availability and secure access.
• Monitor performance, data sources, and refresh schedules.
• Provide user support, training, and best-practice guidance.
• Lead Tableau Server/Cloud migrations and security implementations.
• Collaborate with IT and data governance teams to ensure compliance.
