Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking an experienced Tableau Developer for a 6-month contract on the PlayStation People Analytics team. The role focuses on modernizing dashboard portfolios, expanding access with robust row-level security, and delivering self-service analytics for leaders.

You'll build on Snowflake data sources, write optimized SQL, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business questions into high-quality dashboards while maintaining security and governance

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience developing, deploying, and maintaining Tableau dashboards in a professional environment.
• Advanced Tableau expertise including design, calculated fields, filters, actions, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Experience designing and maintaining row-level security in Tableau with user-based access controls and dynamic filtering.
• Proficiency with relational databases and SQL or comparable technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex data challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead the redesign, development, and enhancement of existing Tableau dashboards with modern visualization techniques.
• Partner with People Analytics and stakeholders to translate business questions into dashboard solutions.
• Optimize dashboard performance, usability, and maintainability for scale and self-service access.
• Incorporate user feedback to improve visual appeal and analytical accuracy.
• Ensure security and data governance are integrated into dashboard designs.
