Job summary
NorthHill Technology seeks a Tableau Developer to support an Intelligence Community program in Reston, VA. On-site in a mixed government/contractor environment, you will develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau and PL/SQL, with additional exposure to PHP, IBM DataStage ETL, SharePoint, and Business Objects.
The role requires U.S. citizenship, TS/SCI with CI polygraph, and 8 years in software development including 2 years Tableau.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Current TS/SCI security clearance.
- Current CI polygraph or ability to obtain CI polygraph.
- 8 years of experience as a Software Developer/Engineer or similar role including 2 years with Tableau.
- Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies.
- Significant PL/SQL experience.
- Experience with BI reporting tools (Tableau and/or Business Objects).
- Ability to troubleshoot interfaces and work in fast-paced environments.
- Strong customer service skills and documentation ability.
Responsibilities
- Timely on-site support for users.
- Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
- Recommend and execute improvements to programs.
- End user support for financial systems and interfaces.
- Develop queries and troubleshoot reporting.
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
- Collaborate with analysts and testers to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Support product requirements and participate in reviews and readiness checks.
- Ensure applications meet design standards and update ticketing systems.
