Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a data science consultant to join the AI & Data team in Washington, DC. You will design dashboards in Tableau, build data pipelines with SQL and Python, and translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions for federal clients.

The role emphasizes client services, collaboration with stakeholders, and opportunities to contribute to proposals and internal initiatives while maintaining federal public trust eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year in business analytics, data analysis, data engineering, data visualization, or data science
• Master’s degree in Data Science, CS, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Analytics or related STEM field
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI
• Familiarity with cloud-based analytics environments (Databricks, Snowflake, Impala)
• Experience with SQL, Python, and R
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to gather requirements and present to clients

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data visualization and dashboard solutions using Tableau
• Lead and review data cleaning scripts using Databricks, SQL, and Python
• Maintain and enhance dashboards, analytics solutions, and reporting tools
• Identify opportunities for workflow optimization, automation, and improved data handling
• Partner with stakeholders to define and deliver AI/analytics use cases
• Support business development and internal firm initiatives
