Job summary

Celestial Innovative Solutions LLC is hiring a BI Developer to build and maintain reports and dashboards for the Maryland State Police, using Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and Tableau Server to align with agency requirements.

You will gather requirements, model data, and document solutions while delivering data visualizations and dashboards and reporting status to MSP. Strong SQL, ETL, data warehousing, and after-hours support are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or three years of equivalent experience in BI.
• Minimum 3 years as a BI Developer with strong SQL, data modeling and ETL.
• Experience with data warehouse concepts and BI tools (Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements for reporting and dashboards.
• Follow agency Center of Excellence procedures for projects.
• Develop and maintain data models aligned with agency needs.
• Create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards.
• Document developed solutions and procedures in detail.
• Attend MSP ITO meetings as required and report status to MSP supervisor.
• Provide after-hours support as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
