Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Tableau Development Specialist to design and maintain reports and dashboards using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep. You will follow established SOPs and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure data accuracy.

The role emphasizes data modeling, ETL, and documentation, with opportunities to participate in meetings, provide status updates, and support after hours as needed. A strong foundation in BI and data warehousing is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree required; 3 years BI/Tableau experience may substitute.
• Minimum 3 years as BI Developer with Tableau.
• Strong SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements for reporting.
• Follow agency Center of Excellence procedures for projects.
• Develop and maintain data models aligned with requirements.
• Create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards.
• Document developed solutions and procedures in detail.
• Attend ITO meetings as required.
• Provide regular status updates to MSP supervisor.
• Provide after-hours support as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
