Job summary

Spirit Lake Casino & Resort in North Dakota is seeking a Floor Person to supervise the Table Games area, oversee dealers, and ensure smooth game flow and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will monitor compliance with gaming rules, train staff, manage payouts, and uphold high standards of integrity and guest satisfaction across Blackjack, Craps, and Poker tables. This is a full-time, hourly position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 2+ years experience in table games or supervisory role in casino.

Responsibilities

POSITION TITLE: Floor Person

DEPARTMENT: Table Games

General Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated table games supervisor to oversee the gaming operations in the BJ pit area within our casino environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring a high-quality gaming experience for our guests while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. As a floor supervisor, you will lead a team of dealers, manage game flow and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Directly supervises all Tables Games and employees put under their supervision, making sure all correct procedures are followed.
• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the table games, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and company policies
• Train, mentor and evaluate dealers to enhance their performance and provide a high standard of customer service.
• Monitor gameplay for fairness, compliance and adherence to house rules, addressing any disputes or issues promptly.
• Manage cash handling processes, including chip inventory, payouts and maintaining the integrity of the gaming operations within the pit area.
• Maintain accurate records of game activity, payouts and any incidents occurring at the tables.
• Foster a positive gaming atmosphere for guests, addressing any concerns or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED.
• Minimum of 2 years years of experience as a table games dealer or in a supervisory role within a casino environment.
• Experience in dealing Blackjack, Craps and Poker table games, with a strong understanding of rules, procedures and gaming regulations of said games.
• Must be qualified or be able to qualify for a gaming license.
• Requires excellent math skills.
• Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Any additional duties and responsibilities that upper management may delegate in the future.
