Requirements include a High School Diploma, 5+ years TAB experience, knowledge of ASHRAE/NEBB/AABC standards, ability to read MEP drawings, and readiness for background checks and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required.
• 5+ years in HVAC testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
• Must be able to work independently and unsupervised.
• Strong organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills.
• Background check: Pass comprehensive background check.
• Driving record: Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Drug & Alcohol Screening: Pass before hiring.
• Knowledge of airflow dynamics, hydronic systems, and HVAC controls.
• Ability to perform air and water balancing, duct leakage testing, and building pressurization.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE, NEBB, and AABC standards.
• Experience conducting sound and vibration analysis.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings.
• Understanding of HVAC system design, duct layouts, and hydronic piping schematics.
