We are hiring a full-time Specialty Technician who is an experienced Floor and Carpet Technician, and Custodian in the Las Vegas, Nevada area. The role requires an energetic, reliable, and get-it-done person. DAY IN THE LIFE

As a floor and carpet technician and custodian, you will perform floor care tasks such as marble polishing, detail scrubbing of tile and grout floors in restrooms, stripping, waxing, burnishing, shampooing, and carpet extraction. You will also handle heavy duty floor maintenance, refinishing tile, pressure washing, high-dusting, and other projects supporting customer satisfaction.

You are responsible for reporting maintenance and repair problems, ensuring all floor equipment is clean and maintained after each use, and following all safety precautions at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 21 years old or older
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and perform general Floor Technician / Custodian / Projects Team Service tasks including bending, kneeling, reaching, and being on your feet for an entire shift.
• At least 3-5 years of experience as a floor tech with knowledge of operating large commercial machines.
• Extensive knowledge of floor care

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform standard upkeep and maintenance of large equipment.
• Report maintenance repair problems directly to the Project Manager.
• Ensure all floor equipment is clean and maintained after each use and that all safety precautions are followed.
• Perform all duties of event cleaning and general cleaning on a larger scale.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, and squatting.
• Frequent sitting at a desk/computer for long periods.
• Frequent light lifting of less than 40 pounds.
