Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Test and Evaluation Lead in the Air Traffic Business Area to define strategy and lead the T&E efforts for the L-CAP platform, a hybrid cloud data mesh in SAFe environment. The role focuses on modern quality engineering, automation, MBSE, and data-driven validation across lab, simulation, and operational settings, with a requirement for U.S.

citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in test and evaluation for complex systems.
• Experience performing T&E on large-scale, safety-critical systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe development environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement a modern Quality Engineering strategy focused on automation and continuous testing.
• Establish AI-assisted and model-based testing methods to improve coverage.
• Lead test environments, simulation capabilities, and digital models for validation.
• Develop methods for validating systems using production data and performance analysis.
• Lead a multidisciplinary T&E team and ensure FAA/DoD standards compliance.
• Plan and execute DT/OT/Integrated testing and manage TEMP documentation.
• Interface with FAA stakeholders for risk assessments and readiness.
