Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Transmission and Distribution Market Lead to direct growth and delivery of environmental planning and permitting services for electric transmission clients across the eastern United States. You will lead delivery teams, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to Jacobs’ market visibility through thought leadership.

The role emphasizes talent development, regional collaboration, and a strong track record in strategy execution within utility markets.

Qualifications

Twenty years of environmental permitting and planning experience on transmission and distribution projects in the eastern or central US.
Ten+ years of consulting supporting siting, permitting, outreach, and/or right-of-way for electrical utility and private developer projects.
Experience leading and managing staff and/or subcontractors for development of electrical utility projects.
Proven track record of strategy execution and director-level client relationships.

Responsibilities

Direct the growth and delivery of environmental planning and permitting services for electric transmission clients in the eastern US.
Develop the skills of delivery teams and grow Jacobs’ utility client portfolio.
Elevate Jacobs’ industry presence through thought leadership and professional engagement.
