Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Market Lead to drive the growth and delivery of environmental planning and permitting services for electric transmission clients across the eastern United States. You will elevate Jacobs’ industry presence through leadership, thought leadership, and key client engagement to expand the utility portfolio.

You will collaborate with operations and account managers to align regional strategy, mobilize teams, mentor staff, and ensure delivery

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in planning or related field.
• 20 years of environmental permitting and planning experience on transmission/distribution in the eastern/central US.
• 10+ years consulting experience in siting, permitting, outreach, or ROW for electrical utility projects.
• Experience leading staff and/or subcontractors in development of electrical utility projects.
• Proven track record with director‑level client relationships and strategic execution.

Responsibilities

• Direct the growth and delivery of environmental planning and permitting services for electric transmission clients across the eastern US.
• Provide impeccable service to clients and develop skills of delivery teams.
• Elevate Jacobs’ presence in the industry through thought leadership and associations.
• Mobilize high‑performing teams, strengthen client relationships, and establish efficient processes.
