Job summary

PPL Electric Utilities, part of PPL Corporation, is seeking a Work Location Supervisor to oversee transmission and distribution facilities in its Pennsylvania service area. You will supervise line crews, coordinate with field and design teams, and ensure safe, reliable service for customers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and substantial journeyman or equivalent experience in the linesman trade, with strong knowledge of safety regulations and labor agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of electrical or mechanical operations and maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Demonstrated expertise/knowledge of energized and deenergized facilities; switching and tagging procedures; knowledge of training, clearances and working space requirements.
• Valid in-state driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee completion of capital and O&M work in the area.
• Respond to storm restoration efforts with round-the-clock responsibility as a Work Location Supervisor.
• Collaborate with field and GO designers to develop builds within approved hours.
• Enforce safe working practices and train subordinates in safety awareness.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by cost-effective work practices for reliability.
• Schedule resources to meet operations and storm needs; communicate work plans.
