Job summary

Duquesne Light Company, headquartered in downtown Pittsburgh, seeks a T&D Operations Supervisor to lead field crews responsible for construction, maintenance and restoration of the electric distribution system. You will drive safe, reliable, and efficient work while promoting safety, compliance, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must complete Utility Technical Training – OH Supervisor Lesson Plan in the first year.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Industrial) or 5+ years OH/UG line work experience acceptable.
• Prior construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews in construction, maintenance and restoration of the electric distribution system.
• Ensure safety, compliance (NESC/OSHA) and quality under SQDCP framework.
• Plan jobs with crews, engineering, and work planning; assess hazards.
• Schedule daily work and assign tasks to senior line workers.
• Complete as-built documentation and update customer ETR.
• Manage training, development, and performance of direct reports.
• Coordinate with contractors and other departments for cost effectiveness.
• Oversee timesheets and recording in MyTime.
