Job summary

Brink Constructors, Inc. in Princeton, MN, is seeking an Estimator in our Pre-Construction department.

The role focuses on producing time-and-equipment estimates, work-order pricing, and change-order pricing for two key utility clients under master/service agreements, using rate sheets rather than full lump-sum bids. You will support higher-volume, fast-turnaround pricing, maintain rate schedules, perform quantity take-offs, log vendor quotes, and assist with bid packages.

Qualifications

2+ years estimating, project controls, or related roles in electric transmission and distribution.
Strong Excel skills with cost model construction.
Ability to read plan-and-profile drawings and construction specs.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Prepare T&E estimates, work-order pricing, and budget worksheets for utility clients following contract rate schedules.
Build labor crew compositions and hour estimates based on scope and productivity.
Develop equipment-hour estimates for heavy-duty equipment with correct rate applications.
Price materials, subcontracted work, rental, per diem, and mobilization per governing agreements.
Coordinate with project managers to ground pricing in field capability and schedule.
Document assumptions and rate references to ensure pricing traceability.
