Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Transmission and Distribution Market Lead to guide environmental planning and permitting services across the eastern and central U.S. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and drive market growth for critical utility projects.

Ideal candidates bring deep RTO/ISO experience, regulatory know-how, and a proven ability to mentor staff while delivering strategic outcomes. Hybrid work model supported; strong industry presence preferred.

Qualifications

• Broad experience in environmental permitting and planning for transmission and distribution projects.
• Proven track record with director-level client relationships and strategic execution.
• Deep knowledge of RTOs/ISOs and state/federal regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct growth and delivery of environmental planning and permitting services.
• Lead cross-region teams and coordinate with operations, account managers, and Market Growth Director.
• Strengthen client relationships and develop new ones while ensuring delivery excellence.
