Job summary

Cleco Corporate Holdings LLC is seeking an Engineer II – T&D Design to contribute to high voltage engineering design up to 500kV in Louisiana. You will work on route and site selection, transmission line design, and substation layouts, delivering technical designs with moderate supervision.

Ideal candidates hold an ABET-accredited engineering degree and have 3+ years of related experience; FE certification (or eligibility) is preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering with FE eligibility.
• 3+ years of related experience; progression based on skill and scope.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level engineering design for high voltage facilities up to 500kV.
• Develop route/site selection, transmission line design and substation layouts.
• Provide technical design deliverables with moderate supervision.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet schedule, budget and safety standards.
• Support maintenance activities on existing facilities as needed.
