Job summary

Adventist Health seeks a senior leader to drive its enterprise-wide patient safety program from Roseville, CA. You will oversee CMS safety measures, high reliability platforms, and culture of safety initiatives across clinical and non-clinical areas.

Responsibilities include leading cause analysis and action programs, implementing Just Culture, and developing competency-based safety curricula for providers and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, pharmacy, medicine, quality engineering or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
• Master’s degree: Preferred
• Seven years' related experience: Preferred
• Five years' leadership experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversees optimization of the high reliability platform workflows across AH modules (patient safety, workforce safety, patient experience, compliance, privacy, employee relations, security).
• Manages training and development in patient safety curriculum and reliability practices.
• Leads culture of safety surveys and action plans; coordinates CMS and Leapfrog program compliance.
• Ensures prevention and mitigation of harm through cause analysis, action programs, and Just Culture initiatives.
• Develops metrics and dashboards for patient safety performance and health disparities reduction.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
