MISSION IMPACT: All LCSNW team members will contribute to our mission of partnering with individuals, families and communities for health, justice and hope. The Systems Training & Development Specialist assesses training needs, designs, develops, coordinates and delivers organizational training to support effective enterprise system utilization. The role also onboards new employees, administers the learning management system and assists in the coordination and scheduling various training initiatives.

This position requires candidates to live in one of the following metropolitan areas:

Seattle/Tacoma WA, Portland OR or Spokane, WA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform needs assessment(s) to identify training and development gaps. Collaborate with IT, Operations and Shared Services to design, develop, coordinate and deliver customized systems training and just-in time user-friendly learning tools to support user needs, drive effective use of technology and increase employee satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT and management to procure equipment and effectively on-board new employees to the organization, its systems and technology.
  • Manage and update content in the learning management system(s), recommend and administer multimedia curriculum appropriate for different roles, track progress and partner with HR and leadership as needed to ensure adherence to training requirements.
  • Work with vendor partners to schedule and launch new training initiatives and ensure participants are enrolled and have access to needed systems, tools and resources.
  • Design, maintain and collaborate with communications to publish quarterly learning calendar for online and in-person training.
  • Administer and manage enrollments across platforms. Provide reports to leadership as needed. Keep HR leadership informed of trends and needed changes.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years ofprofessional training and development experience. Strong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design (ADDIE model, e.g.), e-learning tools and administration of learning management systems.
  • Bachelor’s in Adult Education, Instructional design or related field; substantial relevant experience will be considered in place of degree
  • Fluency in English andadditional language(s) as outlined in the job posting, both spoken and written
  • Intermediate mastery of business applications and productivity suites
  • Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self-regulation in navigating challenges, conflict and obstacles/barriers.
  • Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment; works with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance end-user experiences throughout the service lifecycle
  • Demonstrates exceptional commitment to serving and advocating for diverse and marginalized populations
  • Successfully completes tasks in a low noise environment
  • Interacts with others and performs tasks in-person and through the use of technology, with long periods of stationary activity and minimal periods of increased physical activity including and not limited to sitting, standing and walking
  • Moves equipment/materials weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Travels between worksites regularly; requires valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and motor vehicle records clearance
  • Works in a variety of settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, and faith-based settings such as churches
  • Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances as required by the State or program

Pay ranges are based on geographic location and are as follows:

Seattle, WA metro area range is $31.58 to $47.38 depending on experience

Portland, OR metro area range is $28.87 to $43.31 depending on experience

Spokane, WA metro area range is $27.48 to $41.22 depending on experience
