Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM discipline with 7-9 years of prior experience experience in a production environment, preferably in the Aerospace or Defense industry

• Experience with CAD and SAP/ERP software

• A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques

• Ability to troubleshoot Command, Control and Communication architecture

• Experience with Electrical test equipment such as bench top power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, data acquisition systems and software development tools

The Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) program is seeking a Project Engineer IV to support the Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) team at our Huntsville, AL campus. As a key member of the team, as our Project Engineer you will play a critical role in supporting production and integration efforts, ensuring the success of the program. The AI&T team is responsible for overseeing the assembly, integration, and testing of the LRHW system, and our Project Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of these activities. Our candidate will have a strong Engineering background, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and experience working in a production environment.


Key responsibilities: In this role you will...

• Develop Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWI) for the build of electrical and mechanical assemblies

• Communicate and coordinate with hardware design engineers to ensure design features are met

• Collaborate with Quality team for document submittal and revision changes

• Provide support to production operations, including troubleshooting and process

• Interface with suppliers to assist with meeting product specifications

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
