Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to join the Meter Farm team in West Union, SC. The role focuses on RF mesh network stability and performance testing across a full system solution for electric, water, and gas meters at scale.

You will collaborate with development engineers, design test plans, identify defects, and execute tests on 24,000 endpoints onsite. Outdoor work in all weather may occur; 0-10% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of Systems Test Engineer experience or related work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with test plan/design/objectives/cases.
• Identify and document defects in the AMI solution.
• Collaborate with devs on design, reviews, and lifecycle inspections.
• Investigate test environment issues and drive resolution.
• Respond to inquiries about AMI behavior.
• Execute tests on large-scale network environments and report results with analysis.
