Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an Information Technology Support Specialist to deliver technical support for computer systems, software, and hardware on-site in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The role requires a TS/SCI w/Poly clearance and US citizenship, with a Monday–Friday 4pm–12am shift. The candidate will respond to a variety of queries, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance to junior staff while supporting remote access and cloud infrastructure tasks as part of a

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience.
• Installs, modifies, and repairs computer hardware and software both in person and using remote access tools.
• TS/SCI w/Poly security clearance.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
• Location: On-Site in Annapolis Junction, MD.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• US Citizenship required.
• Shift: M-F 4pm-12am.
• This position is mission essential, may include work on holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
• Applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.
• Provides remote support access through desktop mirroring and other remote access applications for worldwide sites.
• Identify, investigate, resolve, and follow-up problems brought to the helpdesk by users of cloud infrastructure.

• Certification Required: Comp TIA Security+ - CompTIA
• US Citizenship Required
