Job summary

Getinge is seeking a Sr. Manager of Systems and Simulation Engineering to lead MBSE and system-level activities for life-saving medical devices.

You will drive architecture, requirements management, modeling, and risk assessment across R&D programs and collaborate with regulatory, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure compliant, high-quality products. You will oversee simulation-driven design, verification, and validation, while mentoring teams, advancing digital engineering, and aligning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's preferred for leadership role.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience with at least 5 years in engineering leadership.
• Experience in systems engineering, product development, and system integration within a regulated industry.
• Experience with MBSE, requirements management, risk management, and verification/validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Systems Engineering and Simulation Engineering teams for new product development and technology projects.
• Own system-level deliverables: requirements, architecture, modeling, simulation, verification, and validation.
• Establish and maintain architectures, functional decompositions, and interface definitions for complex medical platforms.
• Drive requirements traceability across user needs, design inputs, and verification evidence.
• Lead MBSE adoption and digital engineering practices across programs.
• Oversee development and validation of computational models and simulations for performance and risk reduction.
• Direct system integration and resolve cross-functional technical issues across disciplines.
• Lead system-level risk management per ISO 14971 and procedures.
• Ensure tools and models are validated and support regulatory decisions.
• Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, marketing, and service teams.
