Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Oklahoma City, OK seeks a Systems Security Engineer (Principal or Senior Principal) to lead SSE activities across the system lifecycle. You will oversee Program Protection, SCRM, and Counterfeit Parts prevention with a focus on RMF compliance and government standards.

The role requires strong collaboration with IPTs, suppliers, and cyber teams in an agile development setting, with US Secret clearance eligibility and DoD 8140.01 certs desired.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with US Government SSE activities (security requirements engineering, risk assessment and management, secure architecture design, implementation and verification activities)
• Must have experience with developing, executing, and managing Program Protection, Supply Chain Risk, and Counterfeit Parts Prevention plans as well as performing Criticality Analysis of system components
• Must have experience with the RMF, development of System Security Plans, Assessment Reports, attack path modeling, and mitigation strategies
• Must have experience working with junior engineers and IPTs/Suppliers/Subcontractors in design development, implementation and test/verification
• Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance and related program access as required
• Must have a DoD 8140.01 qualifying certification (e.g., CISSP, Security+)

Responsibilities

• Leverage your background in Program Protection, managing Supply Chain Risk, and conducting risk assessments
• Develop/update Program Protection Implementation Plans and SCRM plans
• Perform supply chain vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigations
• Develop and refine BOMs and conduct Criticality Analysis of components
• Provide technical leadership in SSE duties and interface with cyber functional areas
