Job summary

DNI (Delaware Nation Industries) is seeking a Security Risk Threat Specialist to identify, analyze, and mitigate threats to AFRL systems and networks in a DoD setting. You will work with security professionals to implement protective measures and stay current with evolving threats and technologies.

You will lead threat assessments, develop security controls, and participate in incident response while communicating complex concepts to stakeholders and training DoD personnel on best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems security threat analysis, preferably in a DoD environment.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and practices, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks, such as NIST and ISO.
• Experience with threat intelligence tools and techniques, including malware analysis and reverse engineering.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Preferred: DISA ACAS Best Practices Exam
• ACAS Training Certificate
• Active Secret clearance or above
• Active Security+ (or 8 equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Update Risk Management Framework paperwork in coordination with change manager, ISSM, and Operation teams
