Job summary

Watershed Security, a Veteran Owned Small Business, seeks a hands-on Systems Security Engineer to support a six-month task in Jacksonville, FL. You will manage Windows AD, oversee Citrix environments, and upgrade EOL software across a mixed infrastructure including DVRs and CCTV systems.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance and DoD/Navy STIG/NIST control experience, with onsite work in Jacksonville, FL. Salary ranges align with federal contracting norms and offer competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Windows Systems Administration and Active Directory management.
• Proven Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops engineering experience.
• Hardware integration with security components (IP cameras, DVRs).
• Experience implementing DoD/Navy STIGs on Windows Server.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Active Directory domain controllers; implement GPOs and ensure domain health.
• Oversee operation and optimization of Citrix servers delivering alarm monitoring and video applications.
• Plan and execute software updates and patches to remediate EOL components.
• Support integration of DVR/camera equipment with PSS infrastructure and ensure performance.
• Design and implement fixes to meet DISA STIG and NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 controls.
• Maintain configuration management over compute, storage, and networking hardware.
